What's the story
In 2008, singer and composer Luca Solbiati (ex front-man of Italian rock band Zeropositivo) started writing new songs for his first international album, inspired by the idea of associating every song to a different movie atmosphere.

With RnO, keyboard player and producer from Holland, Luca gave birth to theFilmakers and entered GravelandStudio near Amsterdam to record ChemicalLoveCrush.
12 songs with a rock soul ranging from classical pop-rock ballades to alternative rock with electronic visions, always in close touch with the shape and immediacy conveyed by traditional song making.
In 2009, the band joined a team of film-makers based across Europe (Amsterdam, Milan, Vienna, Krakow, London) to start working on the cinematographic part of the project (music4afilm) to create videos for the Band's Live Show.
In 2010, theFilmakers are finally ready to debut internationally.
